This past weekend I purchased a plot in the South Orange Community Garden. I had been waffling back and forth about it for weeks and finally decided to do it. I have never gardened before and I am really excited to see how everything turns out. Yesterday I planted everything! It was a lot of work! My whole body is sore.
I will be updating the blog with progress reports. Can’t wait for all of the herbs and vegetables! It is going to be a salad filled summer!
For all who are wondering I planted seeds and seedlings of the following: tomatillos, rosemary, green basil, purple basil, sweet basil, purple eggplant, white eggplant, cucumbers, two different kinds of tomatoes, poblano peppers, beets, radishes, baby kale, cilantro and lavender.
