Last week, my maternity leave ended and I went back to work full time. Dropping Nathan off at daycare that morning was one of the hardest things I have ever done. There may or may not have been a few tears (mine, not his). After spending every waking minute with him for 12 weeks straight, the thought of leaving him for 8 hours a day was CRAZY to me! We made it through, though, and Nathan had an amazing time meeting and playing with all of his new little friends.
This week is my first full week back at work, and I am slowly getting into a new routine. I am currently breastfeeding, so my new work routine involves pumping (several times a day) at the office. Not fun, but necessary. As a result, I have changed up my work wardrobe a bit. I have been wearing mostly separates (shirts, skirts, pants etc.), but this week I am excited to start mixing in a few nursing dresses that I have picked up. One of those dresses, seen below, came as a gift from the lovely ladies at Isabella Oliver. Who doesn’t love a work and nursing friendly LBD?! This Isabella Oliver dress is so comfortable, very forgiving, and looks great under a blazer. The blazer below is from earlier this year and is unfortunately no longer in stores, but I have linked a similar one here. I paired it with my go to loafers, some fun new earrings, and my personalized black tote. When it gets a little colder out, I will definitely be wearing this Isabella Oliver outfit with some opaque tights and OTK boots!
