STYLE: The Cold Shoulder with Diane Gilman

And just like that it is May 1st! My how time flies!

A trend that I have been seeing a lot of over the last several seasons has been the cold shoulder trend. ALL of my favorite bloggers have been rocking cold shoulder tops and dresses. They make them look so good! As I live in New Jersey, and it is cold for at least half of the year, it wasn’t a trend I was jumping into unless I knew it was sticking around for a while… And then Diane Gilman was nice enough to send me this cold shoulder dress. I was so excited to try it! I slipped it on last week and it was perfect. It is so light, comfortable, and (while not maternity) fits over my bump so nicely. I knew it would be super cute with one of my vintage skinny belts. E loves when I belt dresses.

Diane Gilman is best known for her many years working in the fashion industry, designing clothing for the likes of Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix, just to name a few. She has been selling her comfortable, relaxed looks on the Home Shopping Network (aka HSN) for almost 24 years. Wow! She has so many adorable pieces for spring and summer! My dress and bag are from her latest collection. They are both such great pieces that I know I will be wearing them throughout the rest of spring and summer. After browsing the collection a little more, I really want this striped top and these embroidered sneakers. They are so fun!

Thank you Diane Gilman and HSN for partnering on this post.
