STYLE: Mock Neck Love

How is it already October?! Is it just me, or did September just fly by?

The humidity and heat have dissipated here and cooler temperatures have set in. I can FINALLY wear my long sleeve tops and sweaters! One of my favorite new acquisitions is this pink striped mock neck long sleeve top. It is so soft, under $30 (A STEAL, RIGHT?!) and will make for a great layering piece throughout the fall and winter months.

My father is a big fan of the mock neck. We used to (read: still do) make fun of him for his favorite black mock neck shirt. When he wears it, he kind of reminds me of Steve Jobs. I didn’t truly appreciate the mock neck until last winter, when I picked up this mock neck sweater, seen HERE. It was comfortable and warm, without the stifling feeling a turtleneck gives me. Now I know why my father loves them so much!

I have been pairing the top with skirts and jeans over the last week or so, and it is so cute. It is nursing friendly too, which is a necessity for me these days. Even E loves this top. If that isn’t a ringing endorsement then I don’t know what is!
