About a week and a half ago, I took a half day at work and drove myself into NYC to enjoy an afternoon at NYFW. I accepted an invitation to one show, Pamella Roland, and scheduled a few meetings at showrooms etc. I was so excited!
Because I typically only get to wear jeans on Friday (#jeansday) I decided to treat myself to an additional day of jeans wearing and wore a pair (my new faves) into NYC. Not only are they incredibly comfortable, but they make my butt look good too! I wore them with this stretchy, ribbed top that I have basically been living in since it arrived. I loved it so much in the black, that I also ordered it in ivory. A basic long sleeved tee is always a good investment.
To add a little edge to my NYFW outfit, I added my teddy coat (can’t stop, won’t stop wearing it), a beanie (because my ears were cold), sunnies (because nobody needs to see the bags under my eyes), my circle bag (because they are all the rage), and a #basic belt (because, obviously…).
This NYFW outfit was a little different for me, but it was so much fun to wear. I felt like a no nonsense New Yorker in it. A little attitude never hurt anyone…right?
