Since Nathan was born, E and I have not really had many opportunities to have date night. I have not felt comfortable leaving Nathan with anyone just yet. Our first real date night was when we went to the New Jersey Devils playoff game a little over a month ago! Read a more detailed post about our experience at the game HERE. Over the next couple months, I am excited for E and I to go out a little more. When it comes to footwear, E LIVES in his Rockport loafers. He wears them ALL THE TIME!
When Rockport reached out about collaborating, I was SO EXCITED! E raves about how comfortable their shoes are! They loved that E was such a big fan! E selected these leather lace up dress shoes while I selected these blush heels. When we go out, just the two of us, we always wear denim. It is what we are both most comfortable in. We paired our new kicks with our favorite denim. E wore his uniform: jeans, a button down shirt and his new Rockport shoes.
Here I am wearing a pair of jeans from American Eagle. Affordable, comfortable, and they fit like a glove. I had been dying to wear this new floral top from Reformation, so I slipped it on with my jeans. It looks so cute! While it is slightly more revealing then what you typically see me in, I thought it could be fun to show a little skin for date night. Sometimes, as a mom, it is hard to feel sexy. I am trying to incorporate pieces into my wardrobe that I feel amazing in. As you can probably tell from reading my blog regularly, Reformation has quickly become one of my go to places for new clothing. I love the way everything fits. They really understand a woman’s body!
My new Rockport heels really complimented the whole outfit and brought out the pink flowers in my top. I have worn them several times since this photo was taken, and they are so comfortable.
