BABY: Moisturizing with JOHNSON’S® Baby Lotion

Disclosure: This post is sponsored by JOHNSON’S®. As always, all opinions are my own.

As I mentioned here, over the next few months I will be partnering with JOHNSON’S® to share their new and improved baby products.

This month, I am reviewing their FAMOUS JOHNSON’S® Baby Lotion! It comes in the pink bottle – you definitely know which one I am talking about. Now it looks a little different, with an ergonomic bottle and one-handed pump for easy use. My parents used it when my siblings and I were little, and we have actually been using it since Nathan was born! I cannot even believe that he is already a year old. WHERE DOES THE TIME GO?

Nathan had dry and sensitive skin when he was born, and throughout the winter, so we started using JOHNSON’S® Baby Lotion. We loved that it is hypoallergenic and formulated to be gentle. We definitely wanted something light and not harsh on his skin. Now, JOHNSON’S® is all new inside and out; the washes, lotions and haircare products are free of dyes and sulfates, have 50% fewer ingredients and 96% of ingredients are naturally derived.  Since there is no regulatory definition of “natural,” they follow the only independent international standard for naturals in cosmetics—the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). According to the ISO, “natural origin” refers to ingredients that are more than 50% from natural sources, such as plants or minerals.

The Baby Lotion quickly became an integral part of our nighttime routine. As soon as Nathan gets out of the bath (usually every other night, unless he is particularly dirty) and is all dry, we massage the lotion into his arms and legs. His skin is always so soft afterwards. He loves it, and we do too! And the smell of the JOHNSON’S® Baby Lotion is amazing! It reminds me of my childhood.

Over the last month, we have had the opportunity to try the new reformulated version, and we love it as much as the original! I love that JOHNSON’S® took a hard look at all of the ingredients, scents, and dyes and eliminated everything that was not absolutely necessary. We can’t wait to try the rest of the reformulated products!

Thank you JOHNSON’S® for sponsoring this post.
