STYLE: Dressing a 36 Week Bump for the Office

As I get closer and closer to my due date (HOW IS IT ONLY 2 WEEKS AWAY?!), it is getting harder and harder to get dressed for work. Why my office doesn’t allow pajama pants, I will never know….just kidding! I honestly don’t remember having this issue when I was pregnant with Nathan. I think part of that has to do with the fact that I was pregnant with Nathan during the summer. It is easy to throw on a summer dress when you are 9 months pregnant. It is much harder to find pants that fit comfortably when it is 15 degrees outside!

Thankfully, I have my Isabella Oliver treggings. I basically wear them EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. You have seen them on the blog several times already. They are my go-to black maternity pants. If you are pregnant, then you need them in your life. They wash really well and fit the bump throughout pregnancy! Lately, I have been pairing them with different oversized sweaters and tops, layered on top of a tank or long sleeved tee.

Here, I am wearing my new thermal pullover from Donni with my treggings. I found out about Donni on Instagram from one of my favorite mama bloggers, Geri Hirsch. She is just so stylish and REAL. Besides loving basically anything Geri loves, I also really liked that everything Donni sells is made in Los Angeles. You know how I love to support my hometown! After stalking Donni on Instagram for weeks and going back and forth between ordering the pullover or this fleece, I decided to pull the trigger on the pullover because of the beautiful pearl button detailing. Pearl is my birthstone, so I knew I needed to own it. I ordered it in a medium so it would fit nicely over the bump. I will definitely be able to wear it postpartum as well. Who doesn’t love an oversized pullover paired with mom jeans?! I am also secretly (not so secretly) coveting their new velvet heart bag. Isn’t is so cute?

With this pullover and my treggings, all I needed to look professional was a cute pair of shoes. I have been LIVING in flats for the last several months. With the snow and ice, it is dangerous to wear heels! I bought these suede flats during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale a few years ago. Unfortunately, they no longer sell them. I was able to find a few similar options that I linked for you below.

On top of it all, I have been layering my furry hooded parka. I bought it several years ago! They come out with a similar version of this parka every single year. It is such a great closet staple. Thankfully, it still zips over my bump! If you are in the market for a new winter coat, you should definitely consider picking this one up. It is currently ON SALE and it NEVER goes on sale!

This outfit is PERFECT for the office during those last weeks before baby. It is also perfect for running after my VERY ACTIVE 17 month old!
