STYLE: Influenced

Happy Bump Day everyone! I know it has been a while since I have posted. REAL TALK…These last few weeks of pregnancy have been hard and slightly uncomfortable. Only a few days until my due date! In honor of that fact, I thought it would be fun to share one of my favorite outfits that I have worn this pregnancy!

So…these photos are old. I meant to post this outfit a LONG time ago but for some reason I never got around to it. Blame pregnancy brain! This outfit was entirely influenced by one of my favorite influencers, Jacey of Damsel in Dior!

Jacey wore this dress (see her post HERE) when she was in Paris for Paris Fashion Week in September. Her due date was a week ahead of mine. She actually just had her baby girl this weekend! When I saw her in this dress, I instantly knew I had to own it. I loved the floral pattern and the feminine details. While it is not maternity, it fits over the bump really nicely. Lucky for you it is on MAJOR SALE right now. I paid full price. Womp womp.

Jacey layered a structured black blazer over the dress with black tights and Chanel combat booties (WANT). She also wore the cutest fisherman cap to top it all off. She looked so chic! I love layering blazers over dresses and tops regularly and while pregnant. In my opinion, a blazer instantly makes you look more put together. You can never have too many good blazers in your closet. While the one I am wearing in this post is several years old, there are several great ones in stores now. I will link a few similar ones below for you.

At the time these photos were taken, I didn’t yet own a pair of combat booties. I bought this pair on Black Friday. Instead, I wore this outfit with one of my favorite pairs of black suede bootiesThey are incredibly comfortable and they will NEVER go out of style. I wear them all the time and they have been featured here on the blog a bunch. Year after year, M.Gemi re-releases them. They are popular for a reason!

Recently, I have really been all about clutches. They fit all of my essentials and they can easily be thrown into a larger purse, tote, or a diaper bag. This black one is a closet staple. Everyone needs a classic black clutch! To finish off my outfit, I decided to stack ALL all of my rings.  A few vintage pieces, my wedding rings, and all of my Ariel Gordon Jewlery favorites. I love wearing them all at the same time!
