STYLE: Bumpin’ Into Spring

Happy Bump Day everyone! Nora will be three weeks old tomorrow! I cannot believe it. These last few weeks have FLOWN by!

I am finally getting into a groove with my new routine as a mama of two under 2. It has definitely been an adjustment! That means that I FINALLY have had some time to write up a few blog posts that I have been meaning to share with you. You will be seeing two or three more style posts with the bump. They are just too good not to share!

Today, I am sharing one of my favorite maternity dresses (unfortunately sold out) paired with one of my favorite lightweight coats (that can be worn ALL YEAR ROUND), and some fun new statement jewelry, courtesy of my faves at Kendra Scott. They sure know how to make a mama feel special! I finished the look with my new loafers. They were a pre-push present to myself. EEEEEEEP! I can’t wait to wear them this spring and summer!

Towards the end of this pregnancy my bump got BIG. At least it looked big to me. I felt bigger and WAY more uncomfortable at the end of this pregnancy. I think it was because, unbeknownst to me, Nora was a full pound heavier then Nathan at birth and she was sitting LOW. As a result, during the last few weeks of my pregnancy, I felt most comfortable in stretchy dresses. They put the least amount of pressure on my belly!

At the beginning of this pregnancy I vowed to only buy a few new maternity pieces. This dress was one of those pieces. I loved that it stretched to accommodate my growing belly and didn’t bunch weirdly the way some other maternity dresses do. Hatch makes some of the best maternity clothing on the market and it is all designed to be worn postpartum as well. I have raved about their clothing on here before. It just fits so well! I will definitely be wearing this dress postpartum. It will be perfect for the office when I go back to work after maternity leave.

The dress paired so nicely with my navy coat. While the coat was definitely an investment piece, I have worn it over just about everything in my closet! It looks great over a tee shirt with jeans, over a casual dress, or over black pants and a top for the office. Like most of my clothing, it is very versatile!

I lived in coats and blazers this pregnancy. As I have said before, they instantly make any outfit look more put together. There are some great coats and blazers on sale right now, including mine! Now is the time to stock up. I REALLY want this black blazer. I might just have to get it!
