CELEBRATE: Uncommon Gifts from UncommonGoods

Over the last several months we have had a lot to celebrate! Our 9 year dateaversary (yes, we celebrate that) in January, and the birth of Nora and Valentine’s Day in February. It can be hard to come up with fun and personal gifts for each and every occasion.

When UncommonGoods reached out to collaborate for Valentine’s Day gifts, I jumped at the opportunity. They always have such interesting gifts! Unfortunately, due to Nora’s birth, I didn’t get the chance to share this post until now. Better late than never, though!

I was overwhelmed by all of the choices on the UncommonGoods site! I purchased the following items: a stegosaurus lamp, a chardonnay candle, a feminist alphabet book, and a kale teether.

Nathan has become OBSESSED with dinosaurs (Dino Dan and Dino Dana are on 24/7 at our house), so I knew he would LOVE the stegosaurus lamp! And I was right! I have never seen him so excited about a present. He kept saying “WOW” when we plugged the lamp in and turned it on.

I picked the chardonnay candle for myself…wine is a girl’s best friend (after diamonds, of course). I knew the candle would look cute on our new wet bar (full blog post coming soon!!!!).

I selected the book and teether for Nora. I had wanted to buy the kale teether for Nathan when he was first born, but didn’t because he had so many other teethers. I may have gone a little overboard. So when the opportunity presented itself to buy it this time around, I did! It is so cute and it is funny to see Nora munching on kale! I picked the feminist alphabet book because I had never seen it before at the bookstore or on Amazon, and I have been building a mini library of feminist books for Nora. This one looked perfect! I have read it to her, and it includes so many world changing women. It is such an inspiration!

The next time I am in the market for gifts, I will definitely be shopping at UncommonGoods!

Thank you UncommonGoods for partnering on this post.
